Poquoson Holiday Classic

This Sunday 12/12/2010, we will be attending the Poquoson Holiday Classic. This is a great local tournament, most of the kids you will be wrestling this season will be at this event. I highly suggest this tournament to everyone, win or lose you will learn lots about how this sport works and us coaches will learn a lot about what skills we need to work in practice. Those who wish to attend I have attached a flier with the details, SYWC will pay for this event as a team so you will need to bring $20 per wrestler for the event to practice either Wed or Thur. We will also need to take a weight on each wrestler and get you a singlet.

Parents please bring your cameras and video recorders, so we can get some pics on our website www.sywcpanthers.com (I know it says Panthers we have switched to Packers this season and are still updating). Video also helps in the learning, I highly suggest you keep video of all matches win or lose (so the wrestler can see what they have right and what can be worked on.)
